The summary of services available with Silence at the moment are:

The details of the Services are given below:

In Pakistan, clearing the entry examination for Central Superior Service (CSS) is like a dream. It is reported that every year thousands of candidates use to fill the examination forms but success rate is as low as 5%; to me, the main reason behind this low rate of success is lack of guidance available with the CSS aspirants.

When I started my preparation for the exam, I tried to meet as many CSS qualifiers as I can and they use to point it out to me that secret of their success was proper guidance and with this guidance they happened to utilize their abilities to fullest and sailed smoothly. Having realized the importance of advice from qualifiers, I followed it and I was able to get through it too. Now with my experience, I think that passing CSS is a bit difficult but things can turn really very easy with an experienced and qualified hand that can offer you help.

Readers of Silence are quite aware of the fact that this scribe use to provide help regarding CSS examination to all the aspirants who use to write to him in comment section of this blog, other satellite blogs and forums joined. In most of the cases, such queries use to get responded in less then 24 hours. Keeping in view the feedback received from readers for quite sometime, Silence has decided to take one more step forward for providing advice and support to all those who want to move ahead and pass CSS.

Having told you that Silence is taking a step forward in provision of service to CSS aspirants, let’s get to know it in detail:

  1. Since CSS aspirants are in need of individual attention so Silence will host a free advice column every week that will get published every Sunday. Those who want to get advice can post their questions on the CSS advisory page whose link can be seen in upper right corner of this blog in navigation bar with header. Apart from this, those who want to email can send in their questions at css [dot] coaching [at] gmail [dot]com (css.coaching@gmail.com).

  2. For those who want to ask the questions on phone, Silence is starting a free help line service* that will stay operational every evening except on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 PM to 11:30 PM, Phone no. +92-300-310-4224 **

  3. For those who want to get individual guidance through dedicated online sessions can get it for free* through Google chat every evening from 10:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The appointment for such sessions will be served on first come first serve basis. For getting appointment, email at css [dot] coaching [at] gmail [dot]com(css.coaching@gmail.com).

  4. Free sessions* through VOIP service can be made available via Skype on special request. The Skype ID is css [dot] coaching (css.coaching)

  5. For the aspirants in Karachi, interactive face to face coaching sessions on individual and group basis will be available but keeping in view the cost related to it, this service will stay as paid service.

    Aoa,
Sibtain and doctor sab, both of you, thank you so very much for ur sympathetic and quick response. i guess i can breath more easiy now :) so as you said, i had some how managed to contact zawiya ppl and learnt that they are done with their sessions (i knew that :( ) but as they also said that i can contact their manager for home tuotors. i was thinking of having a home tutor for contemprory affairs and general exam structure. what do you say sibtain??? also if you have any body in mind who can help me? i mean who can come and coach me at home?? i might as well mention that my subjects are sociology, journalism, muslim law, mercantile law, and indo pak history. but i am the biggest ‘Jaahil’ when it comes to current affairs…… and i am so short of time. i dont know what to do????
in the end i would like to tell all of you esp doc sab that it is a KAAR E KHAIR which he has done…and some thing which can go on and on like a sadaqa e jaria….. which you have started here, and not only this but you actually HELP people here. its really really very commendable. hats off to all of you. may God bless you all

  26. Imran Ali on March 4th, 2008 7:55 pm

    Dear and respected veterans,

I hope you all are doing good. I am appearing in CSS this March. I am seeking help in attempting the Essay and Political Science papers. Knowledge matters but I guess what matters above that is how you bring it out on paper.

Any guidelines in this regard will be helpful. Thanking in anticipation.

    Imran.

  27. Dr Farrukh Malik on March 5th, 2008 12:26 am

    Dear Imran Ali:

I am glad to know that you are appearing this year. First of all I on behalf of all the veterans would like to wish you all the best. Now coming to the question you have posed:
Brother, In CSS it is a general rule that keep the language simple and stay to the point, be it the famous Essay paper or Political Science. Try to stay to the point and you will make it. I would have given you advice a bit differently if you would have come a little earlier, since the time is short so I think this is the only piece of advice I do have to offer you! I wish you all the best once again!

and Hi to all new and old ones.
I have planned to hit the deck in 2009 for css.
First of all wish me best of luck.

Secondly I have chosen my subjects.
Thirdly should I strongly recommend myself an academy for clear roadway to preparation?
    OR
should I prepare myself at my own?

I know many things matter but what you people say about all this.

I need to know wether Arabic and Business Administration, as an optional subject for CSS is a scoring one; also can it be prepared in 6 months? I am intending to appear in 09.

    Salam,

Dr Farrukh you are doing a great work. Keep it up. I am desperately needing help. I want to prepare in 2009 exam. I wanted to appear after MBA but my father suggests that I should appear in 2009. I have done my graduation and now i will start with my MBA. I want to ask you a few questions. I want to take “ENG LIT” as a opt. Is it a scoring subject? I have studied it in B.A so I wish to take it. Plus do i have enough time for the prep? Which academy in isb is best for me(i hv heard something like National officers but i dont know whats right, plz guide me). I am not good in current and pakistan affairs :( which book should I consult for that. I am very worried because in my family almost everyone had done medicine and no one has a slight idea about CSS. My father who is an army doctor is sooo unaware that he says “CSS is the easiest thing you can do” and i know its not like that. lol. I dont want to fail this time because i did not qualified for nust although my marks were good in FSc. It was really bad! Plz guide me properly. I am totally depending upon your advice and info.

    Take care

Dear Dr. Sahib. I am a regular visitor of your blog but its the first time i am writing on it. I told my mom about U and the great advisory forum U have made for us aspirants of css.She replied by praying for your goodwill and said that ALLAH blesses people like U. I have made my mind focused on the css exam and have closed all other options. I have an excellent academic record by the grace of Almighty ALLAH and am willing to fulfill my and my family dreams by persuing my career as a csp officer. There are a couple of questions from me to start with our elecronic relationship. Q1: What were your optional subjects for your css exam? Q2: What would u suggest to me as a daily routine exercise for the preparation of css other than attending an academy?
    GOD bless U and regards
    Nadir Khan

I was wondering, Dr Farrukh, that according to my estimate, u passed yr written in 2007 and a year has passed already, when do you expect to join the academy. Isnt this the usual time span?
