What should be the length of Essay?

Experience dictates that the length of an Essay is not the issue. All you need is a very well written piece. I wrote 13 pages and I passed it. One of my friends wrote 7 pages and he was able to get through it. In my opinion, an Essay should be no less than 10 standard pages and may not increase 17 pages.
