It is announced by Federal Public Service Commission Pakistan (FPSC) that competitive examination 2009 (CSS) are scheduled to commence on Saturday March 14, 2009 simultaneously in 21 centers. The cut off date for determining the of candidates on the basis age will be January 1, 2009. Apart from this a 10% quota is kept for women. For downloading the detailed advertisement, click here.

The Age relaxation for css 2009 is 28 years (it has been fixed by the federal committe)

The maximum age for candidates is 28 years and anybody above that limit is ineligible. Same is true in your case.

i just say that shame on musharraf policies specially reducing the css age
musharaf policies were not good specially css age concern because lot of aspirant for css are not eligible for the exam because age is now 28 yrs

My date of birth is March 15, 1980 and I belong to Balochistan as a migrant and hold Local/Domicile of Balochistan.
Please any learned person who can guide me that can I participate in CSS Exams? and please make me clear about the upper age limit. Other governmental job advertisements tell us that relaxation is for 5 years but CSS exams allow 2 years; WHY?
My 2nd confusion is, for how many time in a year we can take exams (2 time or single only?) if twice the year then when I be able to take exams for this year?

I am z cabdiate of css-2010 exam. If you are intending to appear in css exam in future and you need inforamtion about subjects selection and other issues , you need to get the booklet from the office of federal commission. In karachi, the office at loacted at bathisland nera teen talwar. There is no age realxation at all. You must not have attained the age of 28 on the closing date of form submission.
