Dear Reader, welcome back!

Life is going in full swing. Recently, I left Karachi for good and now I am based in Khairpur till commencement of my training in Civil Service Academy at Lahore Pakistan. It’s my fourth day here and I am in process of getting myself adjusted. There are few issues that I need to deal with. One, it is very hot out here and the misery gets multiplied with on and off status of electricity in the name of load shedding. Second, internet is slow and I am trying rock hard to keep my self abreast with developments around online.

Apart from these issues, I am working on few projects too. The first project is translations of two books I love. One by Dr. Tanvir Abbasi about Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai and other is a compilation of literary conversations of Jorge Louis Borges. I am translating Tanvir’s book from Sindhi to English and the other one; I have already translated from English to Sindhi.

Last but not least, I happened to visit Public Library here in Khairpur. For your information, this library has a great collection of books since pre-partition times. So, I visited the library and happened to meet the chief cataloger Hafiz Ismail Brohi. The man is real gold and he has agreed to offer me helping hand with finding some interesting reading material specially related to autobiographies. So friends, I think, at the moment, I am on top of the world and enjoying every bit of it and would like to let you know that in days to come, I will keep you updated and will share my readings, so stay tuned with Silence.
