The BBC ticker can be downloaded from the website of BBC, you can click here. Having installed it, configure it according to your needs and its ready to fetch you the news of relevance as per your settings all the way from the BBC.
dr shahib i have problem i can speak english fluently,i can also write english well,,but i canot understand english tough paragraps….
this is because i am fond of reading only urdu books..not englishhh
so what u suuggest to me…..
what should i do……..i have seen pevious papers of english….they appear to me very tough so for this i am in worry.by the way i have to appear in 2009.

what advice will you give regarding use of different colour markers on the answer book to highlight different important points or headings.Through out my studies i have noticed that although it is written in the instructions on the answer book to use only blue ink but the condidates are excessively using multi colour markers.What’s the case in this examination?

I would say, if you are using a combination of black and blue, it helps you highlight the important points and in case of headings you can use the markers too. Apart from this, I would like to say that excessive use of markers will effect negatively, so it is imperative to balance things up.

Get your system checked with someone who has this expertise, the system requirement for running BBC ticker are as under:
- Operating system: Windows 2000, Windows XP
- System memory (RAM): 256MB
- 4MB of hard disc space
- Internet access
About Science subject, I think, taking science subjects for CSS examination require your special interest in those subjects because in order to prepare for all such subjects, you need to put some extra effort. In case of reading Dawn my priority stays as follows:

Thank you for your prayers. About you query, in my point of view the duration for preparation varies from person to person so I can’t say it for sure in your case when it comes to duration but I would like to make one thing very clear that one complete year is more than enough for CSS examination but for success, hard and smart work with dedication and sincerity of purpose is pre-requisite. Now coming to second part of query, in case of English, reading daily Dawn can prove a very good starting point.

Its all about your interest in above mentioned subject, choose the ones that suit your aptitude, if you will ask me, my answer will be based on my likings and it will be biases so it is much better if you could make your decision by keeping in mind your personal interest. Hello Sir…I want to ask from u…dat does it really matter to have a very strong and good background..i mean da secondary and higher secondary grades….cuz i’ve done my O/A level wid somewhat average grades…but now m doing my bachelors in Business Management and completed my 3 years…and m fond of takin a competition exam….CSS dat is….Im goin good with bachelors having my CGPA above 3.2 from da total of 4….so i want to ask dat, will dat previous academic record really counts alot or is it OK?
