Dear Reader, welcome back!
Friends, as promised earlier, Buzz around me feature of Silence is back. Silence feels sorry for the discontinuity but the kind of situation
It’s for the first time that I encountered JonyBr at Random Thoughts on Random nights. I happened to read two of the posts with this blog, one titled strange feelings in which the author was not able make the point to why he is writing it all. It didn’t touched me, having read this I clicked away to the home page where I happened to read the top most post present titled You can not make everyone happy. The title was really attractive but when I end up reading this post, I though hmmm ordinary but I will say the write ups were some regular musing that ought to go around and I must respect the choice of the blogger to what he/she wants to write.
The
Gustave Flaubert is my all time favorite because he was a perfectionist when he used to write. It is told that he use to write a lot of drafts of his write ups before coming up with the final. I simply love his novel Madame Bovary. SAJ Shirazi has written about this novel in this post at Light within, have a look at it here.
Raza Rumi writes about his feeling when he heard the sad news of assassination of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. He was in Ajmer Sharrif on his annual visit to pay his respect to Khawaja. This post offers us the real feeling of a Pakistani with out any adulteration of any conspiracy theory. Its worth reading, you can find the post here.
Like many others around, Pak Spectator in this post thinks that the only solution to the chaos that is around, regarding the death of Benazir Bhutto, is inviting the UN team for the investigation of the sad incidence.
All things Pakistan is at the moment conducting a blogging experiment on their site. They have started moderating the comments. They have placed a post on top to what people support in election 2008 as for as political parties are concerned moreover they are interested knowing the reasons behind this support. I found it interesting but haven’t replied to this post yet due to some personal reason but this post is really worth reading and replying. Have a look at it here.
Gigaom reports that Apple shares slid 7.6 percent Friday, closing at $180 and capping an 11-percent loss in just one (shortened) week. This a very interesting post that focuses on different aspects of this slide and worries of the investors. I hope those who are interested in looking at the financial aspects of the technology companies can have a happy read with it. Have a look at the post here.
I found this wonderful blog when I commented on Pak Spectator and Faisalk responded me; yes I am talking about Deadpan thoughts. Though this blog is quite new around but I happened to find some nice post around. The most interesting post that I came to read with Faisalk was an imaginary interview of Ayman al Zawahiri. You can also enjoy it by clicking here.
Pak tea house has published the commentary by Ali Dayan Hasan, the south
