Update 1:
A high level meet presided by Pervaiz Musharraf is under way. Other included in meeting are caretaker Prime Minister Mohammad Mian Soomro.
Update 2:
Benazir was shot in neck after the meeting in Liaquat Bagh in Rawalpindi. She was sitting in her car.
Update 3: The activists are under chaotic situation. They are acting at their on. In Karachi they are setting the vehicles and anything they see on fire.
Update 4: The traffic is suspended in major areas of Karachi
Update 5: In larkana the activists are angry and setting the city on fire
Update 6: In Dadu, the situation is getting worse with people out on streets.

Update 7: Benazir was shot in neck when she was getting back to her car. Only one bullet hit her and proved fatal.
Update 8: Sherry Rehman also got injured.
Update 9: She was getting operated, the doctors were trying to remove the bullet from her neck and in 45 minutes of the procedure the doctors announced her sad demise.
Update 10: Senator Safdar Abbasi is safe.

There was no security outside Liaquat Bagh.

Unofficial reports tell that total death toll was 17, Naheed Khan and Sherry Rehman are safe.
Update 13: Quetta Balochistan is facing worst for of violence. The activists are out on streets and they are acting at their own.
Update 14: In Karachi, the activists are setting everything on fire that is coming in their way.
Update 15: In Larkana Sindh, around 10 banks are set on fire. The whole city is set on fire. The activists are acting violently.
Update 16: In Jacobabad Sindh, the Khushal Khan Khattak express is set on fire.
Update 17: It is reported that Asif Ali Zardari, the husband of the deceased prime minister will fly to Rawalpindi from Dubai along with Children anytime soon. Dead body of the deceased will be handed to Asif Ali Zardari and it is not yet decided that where he will be buried.
Update 18: UN security council has called an emergency meeting in the wake of assassination of Benazir Bhutto in which the current situation of Pakistan after the death of Benazir will be discussed.
Update 19: Five dead in Karachi reportedly. Attack on the Gulistan-e-Jauhar Police station.
Update 20: Shah Latif Express set on fire in Hyderabad.
Update 21: High level meeting is under way at Governor House Karachi and they are reportedly discussing on calling the Army in cities to deal with law and order situation.
Update 22: In Sukkur Sindh, more than ten banks were set on fire. The roads are blocked and situation is getting worse.
Update 23: The national High at Moro in Sindh is blocked, no vehicle is able to move to and from there in any direction.
Update 24: The ambulances assumed carrying the dead body of the Benazir Bhutto are leaving the premises of the hospital in Rawalpindi but this news requires the confirmation from the authorities.
Update 25: The dead body of Benazir Bhutto is being taken to the Chaklala air base.
Update 26: The judicial tribunal will be set headed by the Lahore High court’s judge.
Update 27: Makhdoom Ameen Faheem demanded the impartial inquiry of the incident.
Update 28: Around 7 people are reportedly killed in interior of Sindh.
Update 29: The passengers in Lahore at railway station are stuck.
Update 30: The C-130 took off from Chaklala air base with the dead body of Benazir Bhutto and it is reported that the destination of the air craft is Larkana.
Update 31:
In Punjab Sialkot, Multan, Sargodha and Faisalabad remained the centers of violent protests. The government of Punjab has taken the emergency steps to keep the law and order situation in control.
Update 32: It is reported that death toll due to suicide bombing in Rawalpindi increased to 22 and 45 are injured.
Update 33: The death toll in Karachi raised to 12.
Update 34: It is reported by Aaj TV that 8 people are dead in Khairpur.
Update 35: Benazir Bhutto was reportedly dead even before she reached hospital. It is not yet clear if autopsy is done or not and no any medical report is yet made public.
Update 36: The preparation of funeral of Benazir are compelete.
Update 37: Benazir will be buried in Garhi Khuda Bux beside her father’s grave as per her will.
Update 38: The law and order situation is getting out of control, the prisoners from many a places in interior of Sindh ran away.
Update 39: The DPO Police Larkana is appearing helpless, says, Mohammad Bux Arijo, City Mayor of Larkana.
Update 40: Fatima Bhutto the daughter of Late Murtaza Bhutto and Ghanwa Bhutto are at Bhutto house in Larkana. Sanam Bhutto reached in Karachi.
Update 41: Asif ZArdari and Children are there at Bhutto house in Naudaro.
Update 42: Farhatullah Babar, Nisar Khoro, Aijaz Laghari, Qaim Ali Shah, Manzoor Wassan, Aijaz Ali Jakhrani, Nawab Wassan are notables present in Bhutto House Naudaro.
Update 43: The Nimaz-e-Janaza (funeral prayers) of Benazir Bhutto will be said after Namaz-e-Jumma at around 1430 hrs
Update 44: People are pouring in Naudaro to attend funeral from all parts of Sindh. Many are not able to make it due to suspended public transport.
Update 45: In about half an hour the people will move from Naudaro to Garhi Khuda Bux.
Update 46: The postponement of polls is not yet decided said caretaker Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammad Mian Soomro.
Update 47: Mohmmad Mian Soomro the caretaker Prime Minister is doing the press conference.
Update 48: Funeral proceedings of 5 of those who died in Liaquat Bagh carnage are in progress in their respective areas.
Update 49: Rangers deployed in province of Sindh with powers of shoot at site of the violent protesters. Around 10 thousands are deployed in Karachi and around 15 thousands are deployed in interior of Sindh.
Update 50: Looting in progress in interior of Sindh. Around 25 banks looted in Sukkur Sindh according to unofficial report.
Update 51: Interior minister of Pakistan still consider that they Benazir was killed in suicide attack. He further thinks that the government had written to Mr. Malik the security adviser about the situation.
Update 52: Major Asad, spokesman for Sindh rangers says that they are given order of shoot to kill the miscreants damaging the state property or citizens.
Update 53: The Indus Highway is blocked at 15 places between Dadu and Mehar.
Update 54: Two banks and two petrol pumps burnt in Sehwan, Sindh.
Update 55: The announcement for funeral prayer (Nimaz-e-Janaza) is being done in Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto.
Update 56: The dead body of Benazir Bhutto is being taken to the ground where her funeral prayers are planned in Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto. People are waiting anxiously.

    I was really shocked to listen her tragic demise. It is a coward attack on a woman and condemned by every Pakistani. She martyred while struggling for democracy.
