Dear Reader, welcome back!
Tomorrow is Eid here in Pakistan, many of you might be busy with your last minute preparation. Apart from this Christmas is approaching along with new years, so you might be having many plans on cards so taking this opportunity,I would like to wish you Happy Eid, Christmas and a new year. Apart from this, its Thursday and how can I forget to share my reading from blogsphere. For last three days, I was quite busy with so many things and kept travelling for quite sometime so was not able to read much around but even than I happened to see few very fine post around and I hope you will find them interesting too so here you go:
I felt really sad when I read the news of sad demise of a legend. Yes, I am talking about Gulgee the great artist and pride of Pakistan. He along with his wife and maid was found dead in his house in clifton, Karachi, Pakistan. This post at ‘All things Pakistan’ by Adil Najam had covered few very important aspects of this tragedy.
By quoting review of a book about Jean Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir, Shirazi in this post at ‘Light within’ brings us to some essential questions about relationships and I will quote him, “Why this is no more possible to live and love with total transparency, sharing every secret, renouncing jealousy, exposing themselves to judgement and, in conversational marathons, analyzing every last sensation today; of course in marriage and with Children? Or is it? Do we find people around us living this way or other way?”
Annie Gulrukh has put a survey in this post at ‘Chowrangi’ about the causes of anger. The sample size of the participants is 100 men, women and Children each. She has not provided any reference to origin of material but even then it is interesting to read it.
An image can speak thousand words, this is how I felt after looking at this on Dr. Awab Alvie’s blog ‘the teeth maestro’. Have a look at it, its the reality!
And this is it. I hope you will find the above posts interesting, do let me know if you want any change in this feature, your feedback is always welcome, leave a comment or email me at editor [at] drfarrukhmalik [dot] com
