Today is strike in Karachi. I have been watching the situation of Karachi on my television screen. Few moments back, I heard some voices in my room and when I tried to peep outside, I saw a crowd of workers of a political party. They were raising slogans in favour of their party. According to reports around 15 people are murdered and more than 35 people are those who incurred injurious. Though, everything about is making me sad but among all those reports one stays prominent. Yes, a ambulance driver was shot dead when he was trying to carry some people to hospital. Latter, when another ambulance tried to pick the driver and people injured, that ambulance too was burnt along with dead and injured. This is a moment of thinking and feeling sad about this all. I am not able to find words to describe me feelings and protest against those who are responsible. The news caster on television used words of ‘Jungle ka kanoon’ (law of land) for the situation and that is very true. It’s a bloody day for Karachi and Karachiites.
