Jokes at times are the decent way of criticizing some odd issues related to societies. One such joke I wanted to share with you:

A person developed a conflict with another and threatened to file a case in court of law by saying: “I will not let you go; I will hire an advocate and sue you”

The other person started laughing and said, “go and do what ever possible in your capacity, you threaten me with hiring an advocate, I will hire a judge against you”

Having heard this joke and my heart started aching on my country’s system and today’s daily Dawn carries one such news item in which the Geo TV is issued with a notice of contempt of court due to a program that has highlighted the inefficiency of our judicial system. Is this the freedom of expression, I don’t know the real story behind but the delayed justice in our country has played havoc with hundreds of lives in our country and court at times fails to clam its impartiality.

    Sad … well a place where Judiciary is not independent what can we expect … where the law minister can come and beat 5-star’s waiter for late service or something and would go off with natural rod in neck … how shud we really feeel …. intensly sad …!
