All the birds have flown up and gone;
A lonely cloud floats leisurely by.
We never tire of looking at each other -
Only the mountain and I.

The first episode of third season of Coke Studio Pakistan went on air. Recently, the Coke Studio has claimed a great deal of audience in Pakistan. In the first episode, I happened to listen to Zeb and Hania’s latest song in Farsi (Persian). It was mesmerizing and I simply loved it. From composition to sound effects, specially the violin play was soothing. With a little bit of googling, got hold of the lyrics of the song and felt like sharing with you and I hope you will come to love it too:
Bibi sanam janem, anaar-e-sisstanem
My love, you are like the sweet pomegranate of Sistan
Ba darwazae tajh Quran jayee sanam janem
Your being borders on the divine, my love

When the Lord was creating Police Officers, he was into his sixth day of overtime when an angel appeared and said,
“You’re doing a lot of fiddling around on this one.”
And the Lord said, “Have you read the spec on this order? A Police Officer has to be able to run five miles through alleys in the dark, scale walls, enter homes the health inspector wouldn’t touch, and not wrinkle his uniform.
